This amusing exchange happened the other day:

After seeing someone removed a section titled "3RR on United States intervention in Chile" from DHeyward's talk page, I went to check out why a warning was being removed. It turned out that it was being removed by the person who gave it - fair enough. But what prompted the warning? I went to check out the history of United States intervention in Chile, where i noticed an edit war was in progress, so I protected the article.

DHeyward then turns up on my talk page asking where had the request for protection been posted. I told him it wasn't posted anywhere and also wasnt required to be posted anywhere. I also told him why i noticed the edit war. He chucked a fit and told me to remove his talk page from my watchlist. I told him there was no reason to.

He then decides to run to daddy MONGO for help. IN the process accusing me of following him around in an effort to get him blocked (I think?). When I told him he was being ridiculous and that my explanation was by far the more likely one and that I had actually REVERSED a block placed on his account by WMC he decided that I still had it in for him - I just had it in for WMC more and didn't want to miss the chance of wheel warring with him by undoing one of his blocks... Really the lengths some people will go to try and convince themselves they are under attack is quite ridiculous. Of course his attempt to get less ntoice from me has failed - because I will now spend every waking moment stalking his contributions until I can find something to block him for! (for the uninitiated thats called sarcasm - its quite pathetic that I have to put this disclaimer in - though it is unlikely to stop people misquoting me!)
