Is this the friend that Slim was cross about checkuser 'checking'? He certainly should be checked. Anonymous Dissident seems to have a lot of admin privileges, despite being barely literate. Or should that be, because of being barely literate? Meta-wiki (sysop; bureaucrat) MediaWiki (sysop) Commons (sysop) Wikispecies (sysop; bureaucrat) en-Wiki (sysop) Like Slim, like Baggini and Stangroom (favoured by Slim with personal pages) he has some passing interest in philosophy. Indeed, he is 'one' of the users (my learned friend) docmartincohen recently but ineffectually (complaint resolved - nothing to be done!) complained about on the 'Admin noticeboard' for planting adverts or unsuitable references, generally at the end of the first sentence, for various 'famous philosophers' (Nietzsche). |

His dialogues, apparently between Socrates and other ancient Greeks [3], range widely [4] and have been highly influential [5]. At least, it seems, all the refs can be from one book! A-D hasn't explained why all his refs appear only in the first paragraphs of the pieces. There's a lot of 'unsourced' statemetns later down the pages!
