Ncmvocalist, The mad archiver... Options

As we talked about on the Beamathan thread, Ncmvocalist is continuing to step in and pretend he's an admin. On the Bedford ANI thread, Jimbo stepped in and desysopped him this morning. It's a fairly big deal, as evidenced by the ANI thread and the one that popped up here immediately. Two more editors made comments after Jimbo, and then ten minutes later Ncmvocalist, in all his not-an-admin glory, closes the thread.

My favorite shiza-stirrer Beamathan jumps right back in to tell him he was premature, and three minutes later Ncmvocalist closes it again...

(Beam also talked some smack to Jimbo on the same thread. I'm liking this guy for the sheer chaos he leaves in his wake.)

Ryan Postlethwaite reopened it, and left a message on his talk page that hasn't been responded to yet.

Since he's been warned before about premature (within minutes) archiving, I'm starting to wonder if he's doing this on purpose, or if he really just doesn't get it.

EDIT: And now ThuranX has called him out on the Obama pages, formally requesting he stay off of them.

Doesn't he/she also engage in the dumb practice of moving discussions to subpages, which automatically kills them?

I have to respond to this, since I invented that practice (Well, I came up with it independently, and it wasn't common until after I'd done so; I don't know if anyone had done it before)

The reason is that ANI is enormous, and by the time a discussion is that large (some taking up as much as a third of the page, during otherwise slow weeks) three things are true
1) The discussion is mostly between people who really care about the issue, and will continue discussing it wherever it is
2) Either nobody else cares, or it's complex enough to need a large number of sections of its own
3) It's been there for weeks, and will probably remain open for weeks more

Thank you! This is getting sooo anoying. True AN/I is not truth and reconciliation, but swift archiving often leads to false assertions being allowed to stand.

As for Beam, while I wholeheartedly believe in pot stirring, I also think that Beam is going way beyond this. He's just causing trouble.

Edit: I know this might fly in the face of logic, but I wonder if Beam is Tony's bad-hand account? The "mistakes" being intentionally "peppered" in to throw off sock-puppet suspicion.

I complained about Ncmvocalist closing a Wikiquette thread prematurely that was of a dispute between myself and a friend of his, and I was blocked for asking him to retract it (he complained on AN/I about it).

I'm glad to see that others aren't tolerating his closing of threads on AN/I.

Sigh.
