Please inform Jon Awbrey of the existence of Expert Commentaries [on Wikiversity]. I enjoyed learning from his writings on logic at Wikipedia. I would love to read more expert writings from him on the subject of logic, an area in which he is an expert. WAS 4.250 16:11, 16 August 2008 (UTC)

Note that Wikiversity routinely (and cordially) welcomes scholars, academics, researchers, and subject-matter experts who have been sorely abused, mistreated, reviled, blocked, banned, excoriated, or otherwise marginalized, alienated, scapegoated, or excommunicated on the English Language Wikipedia.

Oh, that was purely accidental.

I now and then registered accounts on a few other WPs, mostly in languages that enjoy avid Peirce communities or where my web searches turned up translations of articles that I had written for the English WP. Then I lost my password on one of those old accounts and had to re-register under a close variant name that I redirected to my original account. Now there's apparently some Wikipediot Bot that stalks me through any WP site that I happen to pass through and automatically creates an account there. So I've been going ahead and filling the slots in my accustomed manner. Sadly — all too unsurprisingly, though — even that minimum exercise in Electronic Freedom has not gone free of harassment from Wikipediot Underpass Squatters.

In my considerable experience with them over the years, WMF sites are not good places for free and unfettered discussion, so anyone who prefers honesty and rationality in conversation is advised to seek it here, not there.
