Yeah, I mean what possible encyclopedic value is there in a picture of a young man sitting holding his penis sticking out of his trousers? Doesn't matter that he's a gay porn star; I'd say this is probably outwith project scope (the scope of Commons).

David Shankbone is a puzzler. He does contribute a lot of free pictures to Wikipedia, and not all are penis and porn shoot shots. In fact, the objectionable ones are clearly in the minority.

However, he does include his "name" on every image and does like to remind people that he contributes a lot.

Nothing puzzling about that. He, like so many others, contribute to Wikipedia in order to be seen, and, perhaps even more so, to have the pleasure of knowing that their work is being seen by others. I understand this to some degree. Every time I see an M&M commercial on TV I get a little bit of pleasure knowing that something I wrote was involved in the creation of that commercial. The fact that few people know this isn't really important to me. It's pretty clear that this motivation is driving quite a lot of Wikipedia's article writers.

He does look young though, yes, although that's just his "look," and I imagine very lucrative in the gay twink scene.

He looks older in his more recent films - he's 23 now - though his claimed dick size of 8" on his official biography is laughable, based on Shanky's picture.

David Shankbone is a strange, sickening man. He posts images of pornography in the name of "free knowledge", sucks up to Wikipedia's ruling class, and works closely with a porn star named Michael Lucas. Since he sucks up to power on Wikipedia, the WP:COI rule is inapplicable to him. He edits for Lucas, he uploads Lucas' porn, and meanwhile attacks those who disagree with the Wikipedia cabal. He is basically their defender, a depraved loyalist who would take a picture of a homeless woman changing her tampon, who was, of course, unwilling to have the photo taken.

His posts on his blog regarding a certain banned Wikipedia editor are hateful and are unconstructive. He also posted some of the same rude attacks on this forum, which apparently got him banned. Since his contributions to Wikipedia are merely unconstructive attacks and porn from his friend, he should be banned per constant violations of WP:NPA and WP:COI. Of course, those rules don't apply to people who defend those in charge of Wikipedia.

Edit: When I looked up "Zach Randall", I found a link to something mentioning Michael Lucas. I did not click on this link, but I noticed the presence of Lucas' name.

Mr. Barbour is correct - I take full responsibility for the poorly-Photoshopped image in question, though I should point out that I never intended it to be used by anyone as an avatar. There are at least ten images in the gallery that are funnier, though of course that's just my personal opinion.

The article, Law school in the United States (T-H-L-K-D), dates back to May 2003, so apparently it isn't a page someone created for the specific purpose of attacking American law schools (as if they need one). He didn't make an accompanying appearance on the article's talk page, so it looks like Shankers just got upset about something that happened at the law school he's attending, and like any good Wikipedian, his first impulse was to take his desire for instant-gratification revenge straight there.

I wonder what happened? At first I just assumed someone gave him a "B," but since he didn't make any edits that accused anyone of being a homosexual, I'm guessing it was a bit less serious than that.
