The Richard Symonds article is wonderful nonsense. Take a look at its page history, Chase me ladies, I'm the cavalry really is a naughty boy.

The article was created by Yeanold Viskersenn who is either Chase me or a friend of his, Chase me's real name being Richard Symonds. The article contains references to Chase me's real life and some nonsense, all mixed in with genuine content. Chase me obviously knows this but still reverted to the nonsense version.

If you click on the external link obit, then you'll see about half of it is genuine, with added nonsense and refs to Chase me's real life thrown in (Bangor Uni, Redditch, naval officer). I guess Chase me's friend Yeanold couldn't resist the temptation, a nice little in-joke between the two of them.

This article is a clearly a spoof, compare it with the Guardian obituary to which it links. I suggest the entire article, apart from this link is deleted. There is a link to this page from the article on Wantage, that reference is also clearlt incorrect.

Now you've gone and frightened the poor man! First attacking tweens and now this! No wonder WR is so hated on WP!!!!!!

I'm not sure how best to bring this up, but http://wikipediareview.com/index.php?s=&sh...ndpost&p=178988 does it best. Basically, someone has created a hoax article about me. I've seen the article - reverted vandalism on it - but never read it properly. It contains a lot of half-truths about my life, none of which I particularly want spread about while I'm NN. I remember reverting vandalism on this article, but I certainly didn't create it or involve myself in its creation. I've read the history, and I would very much like it oversighted - but not before anyone who wants to has read the article, as I don't want to be seen as hiding things. It seems to be an amalgamation of myself, the wildlife artist of the same name, and a deceased civil servant. I know Yeanold Viskeretc in real life, but he's not normally someone who would do something like this, I didn't think.

Also worth noting is Chase Me Ladies I'm the Cavalry blocked an alternate account of his old friend Yeanold Viskersenn yesterday.

I guess he's grown up a little from the time when he and Yeanold spent a great deal of time working on the hoax article Tuba_(mythology).
