It would seem that, according to our very own Tarantino, that Ash (T-C-L-K-R-D) appears to have other interests which don't involve writing unsourced bios of relatively unknown Gay porn stars. While it is surprising that such a porn-obsessed mind is married to an Oxford classics professor, the Conflict of Interest apparent here is getting to be a familiar pattern.

Ash tends to work in a tagteam with Benjiboi (T-C-L-K-R-D) and they both have been called out on the carpet repeatedly by Delicious carbuncle (T-C-L-K-R-D) (who may or may not be on Wikipedia Review...and please don't tell me, since this apparently is the nexus of the entire conflict!).

For those of you not following this Dramafest, Ash has kindly prepared this special page in his userspace, The addition of this page has lead to this exceedingly polite discussion on Ash's talk page, and this MfD in which DC is said to be "forum shopping" by Ash, even though this page is clearly a means of "heading 'em off at the pass"...

Do I smell an Arbcom case here? Do Brad and Frank really want to shift through all of those gay porn articles (Coren probably doesn't mind, though....)? Tune in tomorrow for another installment!

A very funny thought has just occurred to me....

If some awards given to guys who have sex on camera by some guy named Dave who writes for a website are enough to grant notability for a BLP, wouldn't it stand to reason that the annual WR Dick of Distinction awards should also grant notability to WP editors distinguished by this award?

With regard to the previous ANI, some supporters for Delicious carbuncle's complaints later are confirmed as Wikipedia Review members but no mention of preexisting involvement or interest against gay pornography as a topic (or the related "protecting children editors") was raised (see diff for example). A total of four contributors have been identified as active Wikipedia Review members including Delicious carbuncle. When this is pointed out by Ash with the statement "this may represent a direct or indirect form of canvassing or lobbying against gay-sexuality related articles", Delicious carbuncle makes an accusation of slander and in a related MfD (in preparation of this RFC) makes the accusation of personal attack by the fact of her/his membership being mentioned at all. This is immediately followed by a member of Wikipedia Review appearing to disrupt the discussion in support of this claim (see diff). This history of raising claims of personal attack against several established editors over the past year, in themselves present a sustained pattern of using passive/aggressive attacks as a deliberate bullying technique. When raised on ANI, none of these requests for intervention has resulted in action against the accused party.

Also of note is this thread on Ash's talkpage :

Hi Ash, I am assured that User:Delicious carbuncle is not part of some off-wiki (or on-wiki)conspiracy, and has nothing to do with Wikipedia review dot com. I don't understand the context, nor would a reasonable man, so the allegations are not defamation. Correction to Bearian's comment: The statement that Delicious carbuncle has "nothing to do with Wikipedia Review" is incorrect and based on the impression that DC gave Bearian on their user talk page. Delicious carbuncle has made contributions to Wikipedia Review since 2008 using the name "carbuncle", please see this archive copy of his/her member card page where "carbuncle" declares their WP account to be "Delicious carbuncle". The more I look at Ash's history, the more like a bloody douchebag he appears.
Numerous minor appearance edits to his userpage. Obsessive-looking edits.
And here's a nice example of his pushing the pro-LGBT POV, and getting help
from none other than Connolley. Normally he's sneaky about this process, but in the
last few months he's gone bonkers. And here he is, preserving some rather
scurrilous comments in a (IMO very questionable) BLP.

I checked into this. He's referring to this post (not publicly visible, sorry), which doesn't mention his name and doesn't include anything about him being "disbarred" - so I'm guessing he made that last part up, for no apparent reason whatsoever (actually, why would he make that up?). However, Daniel Brandt did find out his name and added him to Hivemind, giving him the highly sought-after "333" spot. Several WP'ers were gunning for that number, so I'm guessing Bearian (T-C-L-K-R-D) slipped Daniel some extra money "under the table," or maybe he just went through Daniel's banner-ad aggregator like all the others. Hard to say!

But we are, of course, the bane of his existence - no question about that. It's not quite like you may think, though - we decided we didn't have the manpower to physically monitor his every move (that would be "stalking," afer all), so we implanted a tiny microchip in his brain, equipped with a tiny transceiver so that we could occasionally inflict terrible pain on him remotely using a form of direct electrical stimulus. I'll admit we felt bad about having to do it at first, but he's one of those people who likes to vote against BLP protection and such, so hey... no pain, no gain!

The auction will be lots of fun, at least - I've contributed my collection of old Depeche Mode vinyl LP's, and I believe Herschel is sending in several metric tons of old Larouche pamphlets that prove he predicted the current global financial meltdown as early as 535 BC, give or take a century or two (depending on whether or not you give Heraclitus of Ephesus (T-H-L-K-D) any credibility on the subject).

Banjeboi raised another (very) tricky area, that of Wikipedia Review.com (WR). It does not take much Google searching to discover that an ANI DC raised against me was practically advertised for comment by members of WR (not by DC I hasten to add) or that a number of editors (and administrators) that have got themselves involved around DC have expressed opinions on WR deriding the subject of gay pornography as an encyclopedic topic on Wikipedia for various reasons (again, I hasten to add that I am not implying homophobia on behalf of such writers). I do not know if there is any guidance about off-wiki public statements made by administrators who then get involved in ANI or other disputes without declaring their previously existing interests. However I have no particular plan to raise these concerns directly in an RFC/U about DC as I have no evidence that DC is personally deliberately manipulating Wikipedia Review or vice-versa and I am keen to assume as much good faith as possible. It should be noted that members of WR relate their Wikipedia accounts to their WR accounts and so even where a WR account name differs, the evidence of who is who is unambiguous.
