Lise just trained her Swift to do the "Stand on one foot" trick!
Now she can attract even more visitors to her zoo! [Should legitimate zoos really be training animals to do "tricks"?.... I mean, isn't that more of circus/Sea World type of thing? The more highly regarded zoos at least make shallow attempts to make the animals appear as they do in their natural habitat. I'm not sure I agree with Durova's approach here.]

No zoo or animal park has animals do "tricks." Rather, they teach them new behaviors, in exchange for food treats. This helps with management of the animals, and enriches their environment. See what a difference a simple change in terminology makes?

N.B. The "drown-your-trainer behavior" is apparently a natural one, and was not taught.

It is quite snarky and a little mean. I don't know why it's happening to such a sweet person as Durova. Could anybody here enlighten me about this gratuitous behavior?

I mean, so what if they're imaginary electronic animals? Has she not been even nicer and more nurturing toward real human beings online? Well?
