I just put in a report to the FBI etc and wanted the evidence to last long enough for them to look at. I used the webcite address rather than Wikipedian ones.

I suspect Webcite will, will have to, or should removed them but not a quickly at the Porno-pedia will.

I think a significant body of evidence has to built up to show outsiders what is really going on.

To that end, it does not help if either well intended individuals from here or pro-status quo trolls quickly keep removing the stuff we uncover. I appreciate that some are motivated by public decency and responsible adulthood, but others by an irresponsible or cultish defense of the value extolled by the Wikipedia.

No. Under US law, these images are NOT child pornography. An image can only be judged CP if it is photographic and involves an actual child. These are simply drawn images and do not constitute any legal violation under United States Law. They may be considered lolicon, ecchi or hentai, but none of these are illegal in the US, where Commons' servers are located. In addition, I would like to direct your attention to this page, where it is clearly stated that Commons is not censored. ... were all submitted in good faith.

Keep - Describing images of children in underwear as Child Pornography is ridicolous [sic] -I see no sex act in the images I've seen (and if there's any -I admit I haven't clicked them all) ...

Most of the delete votes seem to be based on moral panic and/or on false assumptions (e.g. that the images are "fake" or a copyvio). --Cyclopia (talk) 18:27, 6 August 2010 (UTC)

Sadly, I do not have the back up to do so myself, but I'd buy the guy that did it a drink and shake his hand. There are too many older white creeps in Asia, like this Midnight68 Wikipedian, acting as predators on children.

I think pedophilia of any sort should be a capital offence. It is worse than the murder of a child because the child victim is left to live it for life. I do not see what society gains by paying for their keep in prison or maintaining their genetic line.

For the record, I am not of the "bring down the Wikipedia" camp. I am of the "reform Wikipedia now or you're fucked" camp.

My issue isn't with your pursuing legal action against what you believe to be violations of the law regarding pedophilia, but with your brazen encouragement of people NOT to take down such material so as to "build a case" against Wikipedia. That's pretty pathetic, if you ask me...
