This is interesting for one reason:

Only three of the images display for me and I have to click on the rest to see the image. That means that there is a part of the Wiki software that can hide inappropriate content. (Note - even if they do "work" for other people, it still provides the ability to click on an image to open a new page, which means that they can protect users not wanting to see it)



Weren't the people at Commons et al saying that such a system couldn't be implemented? I'm really upset about that.

Following a couple of links from the ones given above, it appears that all the images are still taken out of animations that include detailed, repeated, pedophile pornographic exposure of female children - and adult/child contact - which could easily be used for grooming, e.g. one child leading another child on to be abused by adult. And pedophiliac incest.

The guy is obsessed with pedophiliac imagery of young girls, "more spanking!!!", with and with underwear and this is what the Wikipedia is wide open to ... in essence acting as advertisers for due to their high presence in Google search engines. I just put in a report to the FBI etc and wanted the evidence to last long enough for them to look at. I used the webcite address rather than Wikipedian ones.

I suspect Webcite will, will have to, or should removed them but not a quickly at the Porno-pedia will.

I think a significant body of evidence has to built up to show outsiders what is really going on.

To that end, it does not help if either well intended individuals from here or pro-status quo trolls quickly keep removing the stuff we uncover. I appreciate that some are motivated by public decency and responsible adulthood, but others by an irresponsible or cultish defense of the value extolled by the Wikipedia.

Where did he do that? The way I read this, he sent the FBI links to webcite.org copies of the relevant Wikipedia pages, under the assumption that the WP pages would be taken down sooner than the webcite.org copies. That hardly constitutes encouragement of WP'ers to not take them down...?

I also noticed (in checking Adelstein's blog for myself) that he made note of Japan's recent crackdown on organized crime in general, and child porn specifically - it looks like their laws in this area are now a lot closer to those of the USA, Europe, and other industrialized nations (if not all other nations) than they had been. That's something I hadn't been aware of - and now I'm wondering if the activity we're seeing on Wikimedia Commons may actually be part of a "cornered rat" reaction (by some "lolicon" manga artists) to this crackdown.

Ah, now you are changing your tune now so as not to be labeled a nonce. Apparently, according to the Wikipedia, nonce is an acronym for "Not Of Normal Criminal Element". A nonce would typically defend a system that is open to abuse, the proliferation of child sex porn and the grooming of children and young people into extreme sexual activities.

You see, Timbo, the problem is with the wide open system. Volunteers, let alone teenage admins should not have to waste their time policing this kind of evil and insidious filth day in day out ... especially without support. In any reputable NPO, any such volunteers would at the very least receive training, counseling and be subject to checks and balances. Who knows the longer term effect as yet?


One needs to allow the build up of evidence, not hide it all away. That is the way it works. A critical mass has to come about. This is the way the police, IRS, the FBI etc all have to work. Oh, I'm aware of the politics of the Ayn Rand fan... Many of Wikipedia's problems relate to the fact that the institution was set up by a couple of philosophy buffs rather than historians. "Veracity? Well, here I would have to agree with Mr. Timbo. There are more than enough genuine arguments against AIW (I always think of root beer when I see this acronym) to make this sort of guilt-by-association argument necessary, or even advisable. Besides, from what I can gather, this "Tyciol" person pretty much joins any group he possibly can - in fact, I think that's a large part of his overall strategy, if it can be called that. He'd probably join the "ADW" too, if he thought it might help him pursue his agen-... oops, wait, sure enough, there he is!

Then again, as much as I'd like to see Wikipedia disappear altogether, I wouldn't even argue much against "inclusionism" in the first place (and this is also assuming I believed "inclusionism" to be something other than a red herring), if Wikipedia had a sensible opt-out policy... at least for BLP's.
