Wikipedia woos Indians, wants them to be more active

Hindustan Times

"The company has already announced its plans to set up an office in India, which would be its second office in the world after San Francisco."

COMMENT: Outsourcing programming and servers to India. Now why hasn't anybody else thought of that?

"Good day to you, sir! My name is Samir. Your problem today, how does it look like? We are called as the Helpdesk, and if we cannot help you, we can refer you even to San Francisco!"

Something tells me these guys will not get quite the benefits package of the San Francisco crew.

QUOTE(Jimbo in Hindustan Times)

"If Wikipedia was a country, it would be one of the largest tourist centres in the world,” said Jimmy Wales, founder of the popular online encyclopedia.
