There have been a couple of references here to this guy. One compared him to Robespierre and claimed that he would turn Arbcom into a Committee of Public Safety. The Committee of Public Safety murdered thousands of people. Is Sandstein that bad? I've come across him a few times and he seemed pretty bad, but no worse than many. What's the deal? I suppose, like Robespierre, he is also a lawyer.

He's also a damned fool, and incompetent to boot.
Allow me to bring up the Law/Undertow flap again--Sandstein was a major player therein. Plus the many, many Giano abuses. Here's one. Sandstein makes me think of the classic "useful idiot" bit.
