I'm about ready to give up

I'd rather us not doing this in a WP:BOLD way, nor in an AFD. Let's just have a quick poll here and see what we think.

I propose that we leave this article here in the history but redirect to the main hacking scandal article. I propose that we do this until someone comes up with more information about his life story outside of just his role in this scandal.
