I'm still wondering why he didn't include his own name on his recently deleted 'hit list'.

Well, it seems that although Paolo lives in Oslo, he has just uploaded to Commons a number of images taken in London between 29 February and 2 March. Odd.

If a curious checkuser were to look at your account, and I think they should under the circumstances, what would they find, Paolo? If someone were to contact the Paolo Napolitano who lives in Oslo, would they be pleasantly surprised to learn that they aren't the only Paolo Napolitano there or would they think that you were using their name for your own purposes?

The person you linked to does not live in Oslo. My first name is Paolo, Napolitano is not my last name. And in what way is my real-life identity pertinent in the case we're discussing? I want you to reply before I answer any other questions.

I started reading Wikipedia and learning what went on behind the scenes a long time ago. As a part of that, I discovered Twinkle, VP and ArbCom.

You realize that every single person who ever got caught sock puppeting because they were obviously experience has made the same lame excuse? In all of history of Wikipedia?

Now, by itself it wouldn't prove anything, but combined with the other stuff (picture, your recent request), it's sure quacking.

Not only that but during the recent AN/I discussion an IP from Oslo tried to remove the info about the image of Paolo and his "girlfriend". Gimme a sec to find a diff.

Anyway, either the IP or the photos are fake. Who knows which one.

That IP is Paolo based on this, which I found when looking at PN's recent Wikipedia namespace edits. I suspect he is hiding more things in plain sight, especially when admins cannot seem to delete revisions correctly.

Anyway, we should try to be nice to Mr. Paolo. He's had a rough couple of days, and now that he's banned from Wikipedia he'll need a welcoming environment in which he can express his incisive in-depth critical perspectives on the Wikipedia phenomenon.

Good question. Since Paolo's IP address proves beyond question that he's actually one of the Koch Brothers (though unfortunately we can't pinpoint which one), my guess is he's fascinated with us because of our vast wealth and our shadowy network of behind-the-scenes political influencers.

Well, then I'm blocked/banned whatever. After thinking over it for some time, I've decided to leave WP once and for all. Funnily enough, none of the "socks" blocked are mine. I presume they used my work IP, which has a ton of users.

I first came to WP as MikeNicho231 in late dec. 2010. I was then blocked, and decided to concentrate my efforts on nowiki. By the way, I can tell you the truth now that I'm free, "Paolo the Italian" living in Norway was just nonsense. My name is Stian, I'm an ethnic Norwegian. (Sounds less intimidating, hah?)

My second attempt, this time at nowiki, with the account JustEase, was indeffed because I was working behind the scenes and not writing any articles. Nowiki is, BTW like a fraternity who haven't accepted any new admins since 1800andsomething.

I then went back to enwiki and became the infamous Paolo. We all know what happened from there.

My motivations for editing WP? It's a fun thing to do. It's like the intellectual version of WOW. Actually, I haven't played any VGs since registering Paolo....

I just want to say sorry to you WRers, I was a little harsh with you. I'll hang around here, maybe this is a place to stay?

Just what we need, another member who is looking for the intellectual version of WOW.
