An off the cuff remark by JohnA prompts me to start a thread I've been thinking about for a while.

A disproportionate number of admins and editors have Asperger's Syndrome. I'd like to examine:
  • Why there is such a high number of "Aspies" with authority on Wikipedia
  • The consequences

I don't really have the time to pad this post out with my thoughts (should have some time later this evening), but I'm interested what others think about this.
