"The Register exposes Wikipedia's contradiction. Rule #1 prevents editing articles about yourself. Rule #2 prevents "outing" anonymous editors. Individually these are innocuous, but together they create tyranny. What happens if you learn someone is editing his own article? If he is cozy with elites, he is protected, and you are silenced via Rule #2."
