Full Version: JzG has meat puppets?
> Wikimedia Discussion > Editors > Notable editors > JzG
SPA troll account
In yet another (not so startling) display of hypocrisy, JzG whines about Merkey being misrepresented as"Some Industry Titan"... yet he goes out of his way to "archive" "unhelpful" information that might help the reader see how Merkey might be "someone who makes a prodigious amount of extraordinary and false statements" with the help of squeakbox, who, of course, feels the whole bribery thing should be formalized.

Well anyway, despite JzG's best efforts at whitewashing and finding meat puppets, Merkey's IP block earns yet another ban anyway.

And, in more merkey-related antics, [[User:Captain Nemo III]], who pointed out that Merkey's continued legal threats and ban evasion warranted an (actioned by [[User:Coren]]) ban extension, was issued with a summary indef by our old friend [[User:JzG]].

Thanks for your efforts to bring the SCOX dispute to Wikipedia, but please be informed that we are well aware of them and not actually stupid either. Disruptive single-purpose accounts are more of a hindrance than a help. I have blocked you. Guy

Yeah, I'm a merkeyphile. I'd say "so sue me", but this is Jeff we're talking about smile.gif

That user's already been unblocked by another admin who noted that the original block was excessive and it's not a single purpose account. JzG is really taking it on the chin a lot lately... many of his actions and positions have been reversed or rebuffed.

But that doesn't really hurt him much if stuff he took ten seconds to do is laboriously undone by others at the cost of hours of thinking, writing, argument and frustration. That's a game of attrition which he will eventually win, if only by wearing out the opposition.

JzG's world will only be rocked if he loses the mop has must become a mere mortal for a while. Did you ever see that Star Trek TNG where that happened to Q? A bright spot in a mostly bad series.

In Joseph Campbell terms, I have to think that a lot of the motor of the basic tale of Christianity is the same MacGuffin that drives American Idol and Survivor and so on. There's something basically pleasing in seeing the puffed up Lord-of-all have to slum it for awhile. In Christianity, part of God comes down in human form, and we beat the shit out of him and then nail him up. Yes! And there's a part of every Christian, suffering the human condition with cancer and aging and loss of love and so on, who has the odd feeling that it served the son-of-a-demiurge right. "Hey, how'd it feel, J.C.?"

Like our good buddy J.C., should somebody actually get the privilege of mounting JzG up like a cheap Kandinsky reproduction on the walls of some yuppie's industrial-concrete-and-steel studio apartment, JzG is more than likely to do the Easter Zombie Jesus dance 3 days later. Then, having been martyred (yet again) at the hands of disruptive SPAs and trolls "not interested in building an encyclopedia", his penchant for abusive moderation will be even further cheered on by the WP:MMORPG uber guilds once his admin status is promptly reinstated (with or without fanfare).

Net result: Another $40/mo subscription fee for WP:MMORPG access down the tubes!

Redacted blasphemy - Guy

What? You redact gnostic "blasphemy" here on WR??? What is this, a late April Fool's joke? You think your site will be struck by lightning or something? Say it isn't so.

We've been struck by lightning before, but I think that was over something someone said about the prophet Muhammad, wasn't it?

Anyway, if you think that's bad, wait 'til you see what happens when someone starts espousing the Dulcinian heresy.

QUOTE
A real life comparison would be this: Someone witnesses a robbery in progress, reports it to the police. Some police come by, arrest the perps and leave. Then another cop comes by, asks no questions about what is going on, shoots the witness and drives off. Is this the type of cop you want in your city?

Given that this is Wikipedia he's talking about, he should probably be happy that someone actually bothered to arrest the perps before shooting him.

Somewhat peculiar, but appropriate, unblock reason (my bolding):

Based on contributions, this isn't an SPA--original block was overwrought.

JzG is overwrought. That's one of the best single-word descriptions of him that I've ever seen.

JzGuy has many many meatpuppets ... how else is he so able to control what goes on at Wikiworld ? Check out his involvement on the USS Liberty page.
