Full Version: Jimbo requests diffs on abuse by Will Beback

As per this thread, Jimbo has requested diffs which demonstrate abusive behavior from those admins who scored in the top five of our abusive admins poll. I would recommend that those who are skeptical of Jimbo's intentions and wish to flame him should start a different thread for that purpose -- this thread should be reserved for those that wish to Assume Good Faith. Please present the diffs in a nice, orderly, ArbCom-ready fashion. Note: Will Beback has previously used the username Willmcw.

This http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=...&oldid=56467792 shows Will Beback's tendency towards abuse; he is talking about the unilateral unblocking of Blu Aardvark.

Will's scorn for genuine discussion is shown by his statement, "Diplomacy is great if it means saying soothing things." and he then claims to speak for the community and further abuses that concept, when he states, "If it means making private deals on behalf of the community, then the would-be diplomats must make sure they don't promise more than they can deliver." Of course, Will isn't actually talking about the community; but rather, about the cabal -- for it was the cabal which banned Blu, as the community raised no objection to him whatsoever; community processes involve requests for comment, mediation, and arbitration... Blu was denied all of those opportunities.

But what does Jimbo care about following basic procedures?

There's a problem here.

Will Beback used to be known as Willmcw, but the edit history of Willmcw seems to have disappeared:

How does Jimbo expect us to document some of his most abusive edits when the evidence has been deleted?

Did anyone save Willmcw's edit history before it disappeared down the memory hole?

I noticed that the edit history of the Snowspinner account seems to have disappeared but I assumed it had been merged to the Phil Sandifer contribs? huh.gif

You're right, this does seem nefarious. I will tell Jimbo that someone is making our job more difficult.

I can re-submit the evidence I presented in the Rangerdude case, which I thought was rather compelling: here it is.

WBB has more than likely changed his name from Willmcw, and the contributions are reattributed to the new name.

I just sent a series of diffs to Jimbo on SlimVirgin, Will Beback and Snowspinner. The threads where I requested diffs for Jimbo on Raul and Jayjg haven't really gone anywhere, so those of you who voted for them in the abusive admin poll, please come forward. If you have some good diffs on them, please personal message them to me so that I don't miss them. Thanks.
