How much press coverage has this person/incident received?
Local press only it appears, not naming the accused.
His actions (whoever he is) are abhorrent, but wikipedia is not a revenge platform, 4chan does that quite effectively enough.
They're already
on the case.....
This has all the hallmarks of another stupid Internet meme.
Spreading like
wildfire on
blogs and forums.
It's not on the PETA website yet, but it will be. For that matter, if you want to see some REAL
animal abuse, PETA's website has plenty of videos that will make you hurl.
It's the most disturbing aspect of this case. You can flay the skin off of babies
with perfect impunity, if it's done in a country that Americans dislike.
But abuse a cat on YouTube, and the Furies will come after you....
Fury of the furies? (was a game on the amiga)

Yeah, the disconnect between the reactions to humans being abused and a cat being abused never fails to astonish me.
I don't know why that is, since i have the same disparity in my reactions - maybe its because the human at least understands what is happening and maybe even why - the animal has no chance. Furthermore, you rarely see/hear of humans being abused to the extent animals get abused (in a cruelty/torture sense) and very rarely does footage of that appear on the internet.
