This is comical. And sad. It shows that people are starting to have issues with Wikipedia's fucked up "governance"--because this thread attracted lost of comments that disagree with the original poster.

The Wikipedia is run by a bunch of obsessive-compulsive rule-makers who are more concerned about the process than the product in most cases.

What that means is that most articles will end up just good enough for basic information on what ever the subject is, but never good enough to be a primary source on a subject.

And what I saw was too many good writers chased away by the nitpickers.

And in typical Reddit fashion, the thread is being derailed by snarky jokes.
