Well, considering they apparently beat McCook last season for the Class B 2005 football title, I'm not the least bit surprised by any of this. Football is Nebraska's official state religion, and McCook, as we all well know, is a mere 10 miles from my family's ancestral home -- so anyone who beats them in a state title game must suffer the terrible consequences.
