How is Zachte obtaining the geolocation data of editors? Is he taking only the IP address editors' data, or is he probing into the privately-accessed IP data that underlies editor accounts?

I believe this would be raw IP data. This is obviously sensitive data. I don't know what is recorded in those logs. Logs typically exist that show every query or submission to a web site.
