Ah yes, Jayjg, that guy who "knows what he's talking about," is fighting a usual cause. He and the foreskin restroration people are having a monster argument about the goodness of, well, foreskins. Jayjg, is (for logical scientific reasons, you see) against foreskins and in favor of circumcision. His opponents are equally as rabidly against, though who knows what their motives may be.

Like the Israeli/Palestine thing, this is essentially a non-rational relgious argument, cloaked in supposedly rational encyclopedia editing rules.

I didn't want to interfere in this, but Silver_seren's suggestion that more attention be drawn to an outed individual forced me to step in.

I thought this was mostly a one-sided thing with the "intactivists" doing their best to change all uses of the word "circumcision" to "male genital mutilation", but then I saw a now oversighted comment that linked Jakew to some kind of circumcision porn site...

Haha, oh the "intactivists". I remember them after one of their comics got caught up in some Antisemitism accusations. Decide for yourself. I'm sure they're a riot as editors. Jayjg's interest probably stems from that whole San Francisco circumcision ban attempt, etc. We may be obligated to do it but that doesn't change the fact that there are very serious ethical concerns when you start chopping off infant bits for questionable medical reasons.

Note: This comic is NMS and probably NWS. It's a comic book about a caped crusader who tries to prevent circumcisions. FFS, people, how do you expect anyone to take you seriously?
