Hey, whatever became of Lar, everyone's favorite Lego-maniac? Is anyone in touch with him?

I miss Lar.

Didn't he say that he was off to get a life, or that his wife was threatening to terminate him.

He's fine and he does not miss wikipedia.

When we met for a beer and dinner at a pub, he clearly was on the "get away from the Wikimedia madness" trajectory. I think it's fantastic that he's mostly stayed away.

I got a nice message from Lar...says that when he needs to share knowledge, he is on something called Quora.

Oh well, he was one of the good guys. Wikipedia's loss is Quora's gain.
