QUOTE
Q2: Have any on your team been in contact with Mr. Wales?

A2: Yes. Some of the people on our team have been in contact with him.

We will not be discussing the nature of those conversations.

Q3: Is Mr. Wales going to run?

A3: Don’t know. Please understand that 99% of people who say “I haven’t decided” are really saying “I can’t say yes because if I do, Federal Law starts to apply”. Mr. Wales knows there is a draft movement, and is taking it into consideration.

We set up a website that has a couple of his quotes on various issues. Jimmy is has already talked to various people on Twitter about his run.
QUOTE
Q7: Who is in this draft group?

A7: Bob Clark (E-mail: go2whatbox@gmail.com) is the current point of contact for everyone.

We have many members that are choosing to stay behind the scenes.

"RaceFor2012.com lists Jimmy Wales as one of 8 top picks for being "the next Rand Paul" in 2012!"

Rand Paul?

Rand Paul? Is that a real name? Some kind of unnatural spawn of Ayn Rand and Ron Paul?

Just when he's been trying to green out his PR the old Randroid/Objectivism stuff is coming to the surface again...

Interesting ... there's also:

Seems like a Creeeeepppp. Like a mini Gregory Kohs, obsessive focus on gaining power over other people through aggressive social manipulation ('marketing'), lust for greed and hate of any kind of controls on capitalism, redneck similarities, obesity (reminds me of Fat&Happy (T-C-L-K-R-D) ) and all:

Vigilant
I hope he does it.

Nothing would be funnier than watching him try to debate someone.

Or, having his dirty laundry aired on TV.
Stained shirts anyone?
The Joy
He'll never make the Republican nomination.

Jimbo lives in Great Britain, the liberal land of liberal universal liberal health care, "be nice to liberal diverse groups" culture, liberal anti-gun laws, and the liberal descendent of the evil liberal foreign king who imposed liberal "taxation without representation" upon our great conservative Founding Fathers. Jimbo also lived in liberal San Francisco, the liberal land of liberal diverse groups, liberal anti-gun laws, and liberal people who smell like liberal hemp. He previously lived in liberal Florida, the liberal land of liberal Miami and liberal Walt Disney World (where liberal Mickey Marx dwells like a liberal). Jimbo is also a liberal for having college degrees, a liberal and un-American vice. Good conservative Republicans (publicly) hate porn (a liberal vice) and Jimbo's liberal association with liberal Bomis and the hated-by-Fox-News liberal Wikimedia Commons filled to the brim with porn... and liberals!

Did I miss anything? Oh, yes, and Jimbo is a liberal! mad.gif

I'm not sure how unnatural the spawning was, but Rand Paul is Ron Paul's kid, and he probably didn't dream up that name from nowhere, eh?

The answer's probably in the Rand Paul bio on WP. They've got all sorts of information on there...

I thought that was pretty obviously a rhetorical question since I could have looked if I cared that much, it's not really important, it's more interesting that the campaign seems to be ran by a genuine nest of Tea Party crazies I think. tongue.gif

That's RE Joy's point too, because well, whatever you say, 1000+ republicans seem to like those 'policies', hm!
carbuncle
According to his LinkedIn profile, this isn't Bob Clark's first political campaign:
QUOTE
Cleve Tidwell for US Senate
Joe Gschwendtner for Governor
Peggy Littleton for County Commissioner
Paul Lundeen for Board of Education
Stephen Bailey for Congress
El Paso County Republicans
I can't be bothered to see if any of those were successful. I smell spammer...
EricBarbour
Well, Gschwendtner is easy to figure out.....
QUOTE
Public school worked well for Joe until his restlessness got him shipped away to boarding school. Ultimately, in 1964, he was accepted into Ivy League Cornell University. These were restless times of social conflict, and radical changes swept the country. Joe acknowledges being affected by the crosscurrents, but not enough to march in the streets. Then he read Atlas Shrugged, by Arn Rand, and his philosophy crystalized. (Interestingly enough, the hero flees to Colorado.)
yecch.gif "Arn Rand".....

Littleton's WP bio is crap, and out of date.

The only one that won his race was Lundeen, as far as I can tell. They're all "tea party" affiliated, to varying degrees.
They all have that "dog-eared copy of Atlas Shrugged" impression about them.

If I were one of those people, and depending on Clark to help with campaigning, I'd find someone else....
just having Super PAC money from a right-wing billionaire clearly doesn't mean you're competent.

Oh dear God no.

It's now official. Yanks are fucking crazy.
