After a few requests/complaints/questions, I've enabled the ability to upload avatars. You may upload any avatar that is smaller than 75k and less than 150x150px. Please do not abuse this privelage.

Eh, it seems as if something is still broken, and I'm unsure of the cause. If you cannot upload an avatar, consider hosting it at a free imagehost such as imageshack or photobucket.

Yeah it's a bit of a complicated issue, I've been trying to figure out what the problem is. I did reenable them briefly myself but turned them off again when I found out it was having errors
