Who Is Writing This Clueless Tripe ???
It's none other than
Jennifer Ablan. Don't you think she's about famous enough for her own article on Wikipedia now?
In the meantime, let's watch the articles about journalist Howard Altman and musician Steve Knight. I wonder if any outlandish libel about them might change their minds about how "cool" and "exciting" Wikipedia is? I'm not advocating the libel. I'm just saying... watch long enough, and it's going to arrive there.

I'm guessing that some sort of accident involving 2-finger poi obstructed the aural channel between her ears and her brain at the very moment when Walter Cronkite was transmitting this advice to young journalists:
QUOTE(Ben Wood @ 21 Mar 1998)
Cronkite was asked if the media has too much power. He said, "Sure the press has power, but the issue and question is the misuse of it. Way too often the attribution of the 'anonymous source' comes up. The press uses that attribution too loosely. Not good." He said in his day, an editor would need two people "on-the-record" to verify a story. Advice for young journalists: "The press has been under scrutiny for all sorts of reasons, and young journalists can change that by getting the facts straight and doing lots of research."
