QUOTE(Milton Roe @ Mon 4th January 2010, 9:20pm)

It's just taking away the new returning kid's book, or whatever, and holding it over their heads to see how upset he gets. If he really HAS to have his tools back in 24 hours, and is upset by not getting them NOW, RIGHT NOW, who knows how long they can prolong it?
I see nothing to indicate that the "candidate" demanded or expected instant gratification. Rather I believe requests of this type create a race condition as we have too many goddamn bureaucrats always trying to beat each other to the punch.
In their defense, I think most of them realize if they take the time needed to familiarize themselves with situations and contemplate them thoroughly before acting, somebody else will always get to it first. Thus their lack of imprudent haste eventually will result in some dipshit demanding the removal of their bureaucrat rights due to inactivity (liek zomg, no logged actions in the last
N days) which could easily put them in the same situation as this poor fool Jafeluv.
How about a new rule that says "if there's no 'cloud' then just don't resign" and "you'll have to file a new RFA, which you almost surely will fail", etc.
