OK. Maybe this is common knowledge or maybe it's been covered before. At least I did a cursory site search for both "Moeller" and "Eloquence" before posting. I didn't see anything... So I'm going to add this under my continuing series "Captains of Industry" about the WP Board of Trustees.

Moeller is user:Eloquence. When he first came to WP he panhandled on his user page to support his editing activities. This continued for well over a year.

I couldn't make better stuff up. Like Deep Throat , or at least Hal Holbrook said, "follow the money." Let's get an audit of that PayPal Account.

I should ask him for his rate card on Trustee voting. He's probably less expensive than a lawyer.

He sounds like another one of those god-damned hippies. I bet he says "man" at the end of every sentence, lke "spare some change, man," or "spread the joint around, man" or "this is all the fault of those corporate pigs, man."

God, I hate hippies.

CARTMAN!...

At least in this more recent photo, he's grown some sideburns:

Whereas the photo he uses on Wiki user pages shows him as having no sideburns whatsoever.

How can one trust a man with no sideburns...? It simply makes no sense.

Here's one from further back in the annals of time:

Sometimes, though, I think Google Images is really not as wonderful a thing as it might initially seem:

It's non-sideburn having folk like this that we are fighting to expose on WR. Would you feel comfortable having a man with ZERO TRACE OF SIDEBURNS edit a biography on you? I think not.

Based on this information i have taken an in depth look at the Sideburns article. I have identified within the edit history a suspected sockpuppet of Mr "I don't need Sideburns".

need i say more?

However, the new introduction of sideburns is a step in the right direction and i applaud him for rethinking his anti-sideburns position.

Mr. Moeller may not care about sideburns, but I sure as hell do.

Only concert pianists are allowed the "hand under chin" pose in their photos and it's even ridiculous when they do it.

I could say lots of rude things about this photo, but I won't.....

I finally got a response back from the PayPal people (apparently they don't give out financial information about people unless you ask them really nicely), and it looks like Erik sold the sideburns on eBay two years ago for 50 deutsche-marks. Apparently it was a condition of the sale that he'd never grow them back, and he also had to have them bronzed.

What people won't buy these days!
